Glastonbury ticket registration - OPEN NOW
United Kingdom | |
08 April 2008
While previous Glastonbury Festivals have sold out in a matter of hours, this year has seen an overall drop in registrations and ticket sales.
The low turn out has prompted interest from people who didn't register and organisers have decided to give them a second opportunity to attend the famous Worthy Farm bash.
Registration will re-open at 4pm today (April 8) at the official Glastonbury Festival website HERE.
Tickets are priced at £155 plus booking and festival-goers will need to submit basic personal details and a photo as part of the registration process to protect tickets being bought and sold by touts. Read our guide to how to get tickets HERE.
Michael Eavis said: "We’ve had a lot of enquiries from people asking if they can register, especially now they realise it’s still possible to buy tickets.
"This will give them the chance to see the best line-up of any festival this summer."
Glastonbury Festival 2008 takes place over the weekend 27-29 June at Worthy Farm in Somerset, featuring headline sets by Kings of Leon, Jay-Z and The Verve plus many more.
More than 100,000 tickets have already been snapped up since they went on sale at 9am on Sunday morning (April 6), leaving up to 30,000 still available.
